OUR MOTTO

Be Not Afraid.

En Fuego FC is more than a soccer club—we are a community committed to developing athletes of character, leadership, and purpose through the game of soccer. Based in Northern Virginia, our mission is to use the sport as a platform to inspire excellence on and off the field by fostering discipline, teamwork, integrity, and servant leadership.

We believe that soccer has the power to unite people, build lifelong relationships, and create opportunities for personal growth. Our players are challenged to compete with passion, pursue excellence, and positively impact their families, workplaces, and communities.

Through competitive soccer, mentorship, community outreach, and special events, En Fuego FC strives to build a culture where every player is equipped to lead with confidence, serve others with humility, and leave a lasting legacy.

Whether you're looking to compete at a high level, grow as a leader, or become part of a supportive community, En Fuego FC is a place where purpose meets passion.

OUR VISION

CREATING A LEGACY BEYOND THE FIELD

To build a Christ-centered athletic ministry that transforms lives through the Gospel, raises leaders for the Kingdom of God, and impacts communities through the game of soccer.

For all of Virginia to know who En Fuego FC is.

OUR MISSION

To use the platform of soccer to reach, disciple, and develop individuals for Jesus Christ.

At En Fuego FC, our mission is to use the platform of soccer to reach, disciple, and develop individuals for Jesus Christ by providing quality coaching, intentional mentorship, and a Christ-centered community that cultivates faith, character, discipline, and excellence both on and off the field.

  • Grow Spiritually – Lead every player into a deeper relationship with Christ through discipleship, prayer, and biblical teaching.

  • Compete with Excellence – Develop as a team, compete at a high level, and contend for a league championship while honoring God in everything we do.

  • Build a Brotherhood – Create a culture of unity, accountability, and servant leadership where every player is known, challenged, and encouraged.

  • Serve Our Community – Be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving others through outreach events, partnerships, and acts of generosity.

OUR GOALS

Meet the Founder Emmeline Mejia

The Birth of En Fuego FC

En Fuego FC began in 2023 during a season when I didn't fully understand what God was doing in my life. At the time, I wasn't walking faithfully with Him, yet He placed a burden on my heart
to start a soccer club for students who lacked opportunities to play. What I thought was simply a passion for coaching was actually God planting the seeds of something much greater.

In 2024, after coming to Eternal Life Embassy, the Lord asked me to surrender En Fuego and step away from coaching. It was one of the hardest decisions I had ever made, but I chose obedience,
trusting that if the vision truly came from Him, He would bring it back in His timing.

In the spring of 2025, God opened the door for me to coach again. That's when I realized He hadn't taken the vision away—He had refined it.

Today, En Fuego FC is more than a soccer club. It's a Christ-centered ministry that uses soccer as a platform to reach, disciple, and develop people for the Kingdom of God. We believe every practice, every game, and every relationship is an opportunity to point people to Christ.

What started as a team has become a mission—and we're just getting started

Founders and spiritual covering of
Eternal Life Embassy, Apostles Henry and Johana Ramos have dedicated their lives to building God’s Kingdom, raising leaders, and shepherding people into a deeper relationship with Christ.

Their ministry is marked by faith, love,
and a passion for empowering others to
walk in their God-given purpose. They
serve as spiritual parents to many,
guiding with wisdom, compassion, and
integrity.
